Lyrics
RUNNIN’ OUT OF TRACK I’m runnin’ out of track it’s the end of the line There’s no turnin’ back I’m on a one way ride I’ve been pourin’ on the coal both night and day I’m runnin’ out of track so get out of my way. Well. I once was (such) a happy guy On a primrose path ‘til she said goodbye Then ‘round the corner like a runaway train On a one way track came sorrow and pain Love jumped the track before it got too far It’s hard to see trouble from the caboose car I didn’t see it comin’ from the caboose car Like the Hell bound train rollin’ down the track I know what’s ahead but I can’t turn back So on this bar stool I spend my days If I drink enough her memory fades And like old 97 roarin’ down that grade You’ll find me at the bottom in the wreck we made PICKREN C 2/06
