A piano 'sonata' so termed for its inspiration rather than actually being of sonata form. It is a rearrangement from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, namely the Windmill Hut theme, also known as the Song of Storms.

My name is Heidi and... I'm kind of a geek. ^^; I like music and computers and art. So generally, that's what my life is dedicated to... creating stuff. :p I also like to share my creations with others. Hence these Soundclick pages. My interest began with the discovery of a place called Overclocked Remix. They did such neat remixes of video game music, I just had to have myself a go at it. ;D So here is my legacy. I don't submit these works... mostly because I don't enjoy being told I suck and should hang myself. [lol] But you are all invited to have a listen and keep a copy if you so choose. ;) I do this all for the fun of it so I hope you can enjoy listening as much as I've enjoyed composing these fine little ditties. If not... well hey, I got four minutes or more of *your* life!!! BWA HA HA! Yeeesss... and it is sweet, the taste of stolen minutes! :F 3 H3iD!

Story behind the song
I began this piece in the summer of 2004, if memory serves. I left it alone for two years due to time constraints. It was inspired by Schubert and a little Beethoven and is mostly the product of screwing around on my keyboard. The original version was a bit slower and more of a reflective piece. It became a sort of easy waltz after many revisions. It's meant to be played at a nice normal volume level. Blaring it doesn't do it justice, I'm afraid. Anywho, being that it is a rearrangement, you purists will probably be gritting your teeth. Forgive me, but every good Zelda song inspires alternate melodies in my head. To date, this is probably my favorite remix next to The Hero's March Through Tarm Ruins... I'm not sure yet, it might BE my favorite remix, even if it is not my favorite Zelda song.
